I just returned from a week in Denver late last night. I was there on business and loved every minute of it. Denver is one of my favorite cities!
My flight getting home was delayed, though, and I was supposed to get home at 8:45pm, but due to weather issues in Houston, I was delayed until 10:45!!! :O So not fun!
While I was in Denver, I located a Target and was able to get some packs of the 30th Anniversary trading cards. I just love those cards and collecting cards and trying to make frakking SET out of the packs of cards. I've never managed to accomplish that task. I'm sure I'll end up buying the entire set later. ;)
Ami, love the prints all framed!! Beautiful! I haven't done that to any of my CV prints yet. I really need to get a move on, huh?

I finally just said f-it. I'm never going to "have the money" to get these babies framed, so why wait. I still have to hang up my Anakin poster, which I plan to do this weekend.
I just adore this Padem print...I love anything that takes me back to C4...sigh...
Now, are those the new cards, HG, or the old ones? I'm all confused. I've seen plenty of packs of cards with Ep III Vader on the front, individual packs and boxes of same for 20 bucks, but I'm waiting for the new ones with the sketch cards in - these aren't the same ones are they?
I'm so confused.
And I'm writing like a twelve year old.

Neil, these are the new 30th Anniversary set. There is an EpIII style Vader on the pack, but the bottom of the packs say "30TH Anniversary Trading Cards". I honestly don't know what set is supposed to have the sketch cards in them. I thought these were, but have seen no sign of them, nor does the packaging say anything about them either. They DO contain some cool animation cel cards and autograph cards (though I have yet to see any of them). I've got about 3 animation cel card so far, though.

i loved your other blog about the cards. so inspiring... i have a bunch of old ones from the OT i really need to put together in a nice binder or something. right now they are mixed into a big box of toys LOL.

i still have to frame a couple of things from C4 too, and i didn't even go LOL! i have the INCREDIBLE official C$ poster that nob hunted down for me and actually got a siggy on it. *gasps* - i also want to frame the samurai vader promo from nobs swag-mail. i may frame the program too LOL!

Actually, I have an extensive card collection from the originals on. Someday, I'll do a collecting tour of my stuff (ala Deej), but until then, I just have fun continuing to collect the cards and everything else under the sun! :O
